Ana Respício (female) is an Associate Professor at the Informatics Department of the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, where she lectures in the three cycles and where she has had several coordination and management positions. She is an integrated researcher in the LASIGE research lab. Her research interests include decision support (theory and technologies), cybersecurity risk management, information security, IoT, AAL, and optimisation. She is PI of project Intelligi - Quality Threat Intelligence to Enhance Cyber Defence (FCT), Researcher in project I2DT - Intelligent Interoperable Digital Twins (ITEA4, Compete2030), Portugal Representative: Management Committee of EU COST Action BEiNG-WISE - Behavioral Next Generation in Wireless Networks for Cyber Security (EU ), and Coordinator of project C-Academy @Ciências (PRR). She is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Decision Systems and a member of the editorial board of IDT Journal and IJIDS. She is a founding member of the initiative Girls in ICT@ Ciências.ULisboa. She is a member of the Portuguese Technical Commission for Standardization under the ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27 - Information Security, cybersecurity and privacy protection (CT163). She was an elected member of the ULisboa Senate (2021-2015). She served the IFIP Working Group 8.3: Decision Support as vice-chair (2014-2023). In 2021, she received an IFIP Service Award.
